Size Chart

Hi,

Viewing the size chart, is the XX-Large kung fu uniform equivalent in size to a 6/200 or larger size?

Thanks,

T.

Hi Terry. I have found that the most useful approach here is to determine if you where XL in regular street clothes. If you do, the XXL kung fu uniform is probably the right choice. There isn't really a clear connection or delineation to 6/200.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. The problem I'm having is, I'm 6' tall and 240 lbs. I read that the cotton uniforms tend to shrink after the first washing and drying, so after viewing the size chart, I ordered the XXL Kung Fu uniform (6'3" - 6'7" /250 lbs.). Out of the bag, the jacket is a little snug and the pants don't allow for high kicks without pulling on the leg.

Further, once I wash it, it will most likely shrink. I intentionally bought it oversized for this reason. If I were actually 250 and 6'7", I wouldn't have been able to get into it at all.

So, I'm wondering if perhaps an X-Large (5'8" - 6'2" / 210 lbs.) was mistakenly placed in an XX-Large bag.

And, let me say, it is beautifully made, and I like the design and workmanship.
But ...you see my problem.

Any suggestions?

Terry

Terry,

Yes I see. You're probably right, the uniform is likely to shrink a little once you wash it.

First of all, please feel free to return the uniform to us for a full refund. No reason to be stuck with it if you aren't satisfied.

But second, I think there might be a solution for you.

Since this kind didn't quite fit right, you can buy the pants: un-sp-05 and jacket: un-sp-02 separately. This will cost you a bit more (sorry about that) but the sizes are much more customizable and larger options available.

In regards to the xl in the xxl bag - are there any tags on the uniform itself you might be able to check?

Hi,

Since my son has an interest in learning the arts, I've decided to just past the uniform on to him. He's smaller than I am, so it all works out.
I'll probably buy the pants and jacket separately, at a later date.
But thanks for your advice.
