This thing sucks
This sword sucks for any sort of Wushu practice
1) the blade is NOT flexible
2) it's too heavy
3) the lame cheap sash falls off after 5 minutes. The only good thing is the length of the blade is just about right. So if you practice with this sword then switch to your competition blade you'll notice a significant increase in speed.

If an aluminum sword is to heave for you, you better start eating your wheaties Considering aluminum is one of the lightest materials out there I don't think you have held many swords then as they are much heavier than his aluminum practice sword Also one more thing Short of a cola or a beer can aluminum is not made to be flexible. I'm detecting a bit of buyer's remorse. To no fault of the Dao.
If you want to practice Wushu, perhaps you should buy a Wushu flexible thinner sword & not a Dao. You wouldn't cut your steak with a butter knife would you? Oh wait a minute considering your screen name is Tofu I doubt you cut any steak at all!
Just my 2¢
