Customer Review of the Burnt Rattan Escrima Stick
$17.95
On Sale: $12.95

Really?!

No disrespect to the other reviews here but I honestly could not recommend these sticks. The weight is slightly heavier and thicker compared to a standard rattan stick. However, neither properties of the burnt rattan resulted in a sturdier material and surprisingly it feels very "none dense" compared to the weight and feel. It frayed in about two months after practicing arcos and abanicos compared to the simpler sticks I've bought in the past from my gym. Personally, I've found the white wax wood sticks to be the best. I've been using them for almost a year and they've taken a beating but haven't frayed. Rather they dent. The only disadvantage is that they're 26 inches instead of the standard 28 which does create a slight problem.
