Customer Question of the Combat Sports MMA Gloves

Are these built for light Sparring?

I'd really like to use these for light MMA sparring but don't want to hurt anyone. These gloves have a label saying they are 'not for sparring', but the description seems to indicate that you can do 'physical sparring'. Are these safe for sparring? Also, does the ma-gl-30 Combat sports glove also have this label and would they be more appropriate for sparring?

A lot of that depends on the rules of your gym. Some require more padding than others. The safety warning is suggesting that these are not specifically for sparring like 16 ounce boxing gloves. That being the case, they can still be used for it. Sam goes for ma-gl-30. I'd check with your teacher and then decide which is right for you.
