Customer Review of the EverGel Wrist Wrap Gloves

Brilliant idea, poor realization

I am sooooooooooo disappointed by these gloves. I thought the idea brilliant for replacing the bandage wraps. On the overall, the feel is very nice and gel protection offered seems to be sufficient (under boxing gloves) and even far better than the wraps. Unfortunately, the seams along the wrists are so scratchy. I can't imagine the chafing result after a workout session. This seam is of 2 inches long and 1/8 inch thick resulting from 4 layers of fabric at the wrist section, sewn together and made of Velcro and elastic bands. It is worst many time the friction and roughness a new (poor quality) pair of shoes would do. Actually, it would be truer to speak about abrasion than chafing. I wonder on whom Everlast tested the gloves before putting them on the market. It is definitely not a good buy. I trusted Everlast as a renowned brand for the quality of their product and lost my money because I live oversea and shipping the item back for exchange is not worth the price of the gloves. So, buyers beware, unless you have a rhino's skin ;) Wish you a nice work out though :)
