I purchased these chucks after having traditional lightweights for a few years. They are extremely fast and effective. The smaller handles take a little getting used to, but once you master them they are untouchable. The wood is red oak, and solid. The ball bearings are fast and quiet. These are not for beginners, but an excellent purchase for intermediate or advanced practitioners.

I purchased these months ago, and to this point still cannot manage to throw them at a high enough efficiency level for me to consider them realistic. If you throw one and miss your target it is nearly impossible to find them even with tape on one end. The ends dull quickly, and over time the rods bend, and since they are so high carbon you cannot bend them back properly. The holder is good, however I had to get velcro extenders to make it fit around my arm comfortably. I am 5 8 at 150 lbs, so you can imagine how small it is. Wear the sheath with the spikes against your skin, otherwise they fall out.

I purchased this costume and was over-all happy with it. The material is nice quality for climbing and such. I was skeptical about the armlets staying on, but they do a fine job. The mask hole could be tighter, I have to pull it up a lot. But the three major flaws are that without high top tabi boots this costume is pointless. Two, The jacket has a difficult time staying closed, you need a sash or belt to help it. I use a black sash and two safety pins. Three, it has one little pocket that I wouldn't trust anything in. It needs to have lots of little pockets that seal up. Other than that I do urban stealth training in it twice a week and I haven't been arrested yet.
