| Door Gym
After several days of exhaustive research on pull-up bars, I finally decided on the Door Gym. It has been a pleasant surprise so far!! First of all, KarateDepot ships really fast. I ordered mine using the 2.95 shipping, and it arrived on the next day, only I wasn't home (didn't expect it so soon) to sign the package, so I got this a few days later actually. Anyhow, it was easy to set it up initially. The package comes with 4 screws and 4 bolts with a tool to tighten the bolts. The manual kinda sucks but it doesn't take a genius to figure this out. After assembly, which takes like 5 minutes, I tried this on my door. It fits perfectly. Just make sure that you measure your door frame's dimensions.. most doors will work. I live in an apartment more than 50 years old, and it still worked. Anyhow, I was a little worried about hanging on the bar, but I tried and it felt really really sturdy. You can do various grips to hit different parts of upper body and the pads on the grips are top notch as well. I used to have a regular pull-up bar which tear down the frame of the wall eventually with the nails coming out... yeah, it was only 1/3 of the cost of the door gym, but in the long run, you can't really beat this deal. Oh, did I mention that you can do push ups with the bar as well? I haven't tried doing situps but should work as well. Don't waste any more precious time, this product rocks!! Also, I searched various places ebay etc, but this website offers the best deal as well as fast shipping so no need to hesitate there. There is a similar product from Everlast, which is cheaper, but some reviewers complained that it's not supplied with right screws and stuff.. so don't bother with that either. Good luck with your purchase!
