Much like the guy above me says, getting a size smaller is definetely the best path. You've gotta fill that space, otherwise they flop around annoyingly like mine do unless I wear 2-4 pairs of socks beneath.
They're very comfortable, kind of difficult to tuck pantlegs into them, but still, they are very quiet and make climbing and running a breeze, and you can also feel the ground beneath you very well, almost like a pair of slippersocks with rugged rubber soles.
You might consider getting some insoles from a pair of slippers, though, the foam inserts, because these have no insole paddings.
Otherwise, an excellent buy.
