Customer Review of the KD Martial Arts Shoes
$39.95
On Sale:

Not as good as I'd hoped

These shoes are OK, but not anywhere as good as I'd hoped. These might make decent yoga shoes or gym slippers, but I don't find them useful for martial arts at all -- especially not grappling of any sort. Because they are slip-on, and I knew I was taking a chance with this feature, they come off very easily. I find them annoying when sparring or even doing bag work in them. I doubt I'd even like them much for kata. Also, the stitching on the edge of the sole is already (only had them 2 months) starting to fray. I advise spending an additional $10 to $20 and get a real pair of martial arts shoes.
