cl-sh-08 Discipline Martial Arts Shoes

5 out of 5 stars

My feet are exactly 12.5 size and I always get stuck with shoes that are either just .5 size too big (13) or .5 too small (12). I ordered these shoes in 13 because I read that they ''fit like a glove'' and they turned out to be the very first pair of MA shoes I have ever worn that fit my feet perfectly. They have full lace up, which is nice for adjusting support and good soles that move well. Their inner support is good...not great, but solidly built and sturdy. They are exceptionally comfortable and would recommend them to anyone who is a half size who has had the same sizing problems that I have had. I would get them in the ''up'' size because they do fit snugly.

It should also be noted that these are for karate or other stand up striking arts. For grappling I use wrestling shoes. These shoes are fine for light takedowns and finishing moves on the ground, but I would not recommend them for heavy duty grappling or jiu-jitsu as they just don't have the support, soles, or overall toughness to survive very long in that type of use.

I very highly recommend these shoes.
