These pads work. My husband and I took them into the dojo for the sensei to test them out. They hold up well, are louder than clappers by far and you hardly feel the impact in the grips. The only reason they do not pass the sensei's inspection is the strip over the fingers. Over time it will fail. But it has been nearly a year and both are still going strong. The amount of added target angles is worth the price alone. We have not given these pads any light strikes at home and day in and day out they have retained their shape without hesitation. We were looking for an all-in-one target and have found it. Truly wonderful!

I have used this suit on occasion. It is unmatched in protection, however, movement is cut in half. Pure horror to wear, but great if you're hit. You barely feel a thing.
