new product in an old niche

I tried to order the cloth kids shin and instep protector. After they were back ordered a long time KD said those were no longer available. They suggested this item.
These shin guards seem great and while they are of better quality than what I ordered to start with, they don't fill the same protective need because they only protect the shin, I really wanted the shin/instep padding for my son. We don't use the "kicks" foot guards at my dojo, everyone uses shin /instep pads. These seem great though if all you need to protect is shins.
