I had warrior pads before these. On the warriors, the finger grips would tear off after 6 months so I wanted to try something else from Macho. Compared to the warrior punch, these have a better tighter fit. I still haven't broken them in but so far they have served their purpose. Because they are still a bit stiff, it takes a bit of effort transitioning between an open hand to a closed hand attack. Hopefully, the finger grips last longer than the warrior's. The quality of the materials seems to be identical to that of the warrior punch.
