The protection from these pads is great. The problem is that they are a bit too long. I would have purchased a smaller size, but then the straps would not have fit around my calves. All in all, it's still a good product.
This head gear is great. It provides good protection without really hindering visibility. The only thing is that it is a little tight on my chin. I do have a rather large head though.
