I like the feel and the fit. However, I'm not so keen on the seam in the front. It's on both sides (flaps) and starts about mid-chest or a little lower. It starts at the reinforced edge/trim area & goes straight down, so it's dead-center when you've tied the top & are fully dressed. With the belt on, it's a little visible above the belt and only really noticeable below the belt. It's what you get for paying less. You could consider it recycling/earth-friendly, I suppose. By having a seam, they can use some triangular fabric scraps that would other wise be discarded. I thought it would bug me, but when I thought about paying more to not have a seam on each flap, I decided to stick with it. As for sizing & quality, I agree w/others - you might want a size larger than normal if you're between sizes. Depending on who makes the gi, I can wear a 3 or a 4. This time I got the 4. Right now, it seems like it's slightly too big, but I figure washing will take care of that. It feels good, not cheap, and looks good in the mirror ('cept for that #$%^%#$ seam...). Not sure if will wear for kata tourneys...wonder if judges would look down on it (had friend who lost because her belt was tied unevenly, but just slightly so!). I think it's a very good uniform for price, especially if you're not paranoid about your appearance.
