Beam mount

Really thinking about getting the 100lbs one. I'm a beginner, never bought a bag before. Any tips? I'm 5'7", 150lbs. I was also wondering if the bag came with a Wooden Beam mount, if not could I order it separately from this site? Thanks!

Hey John. If I had to make a recommendation, I would say for your body weight and beginner status an 80lb bag would be more suitable.

A heavier bag won't necessarily make you stronger or better any quicker than a lighter bag. In fact, if a bag is too heavy for your body type and level you could end up injuring your joints and getting zero sway from it (which helps footwork practice).

Whatever you choose to go with, you would have to get a wooden beam mount separate, which you can find here - bx-ac-36.
