The Macho Hogu surpasses the Adidas Hogu by the amount of padding they have. The Macho Hogu gives added protection to the wearer to help cushion the blows, yet the wearer can still feel enough of the impact as needed. The quality of the Macho Hogu is by far much stronger and better made than the Adidas, which my daughter originally had. The workmanship makes the Hogu look like it can take a lot of abuse yet stay in great condition and last a long time. Well worth the price at Karate Depot, which was the best price I had found. I always shop at Karate Depot for the best prices and fast service / delivery. Also any problems I have are taken care of right away.
