This is very light and easy so it is perfect for beginners! However, after getting used to it, one should move to ball bearings or preferably wooden nunchucks. This also breaks after a certain amount of use, poser, and speed.
This is great for students just beginning to spar up to I believe red belt. (in my opinion, pads still slow you down and get in the way so up to red, no matter what kick, it's gonna hurt.) I like how there are two separate colors in case you are in a tournament you could switch colors for the judges.
