Customer Review of the Traditional Octagon Nunchaku

The wood is rough.

On one of the chucks the wood is very rough on the inside where the cord is housed, and also has a sharp edge along the top. I have only used it for 1 hour and the cord is already starting to fall apart.

It sounds like this pair of nunchaku didn't quite live up to expectations. Reach out to us at csupport@karatedepot.com, I believe we'll be able to arrange a replacement pair for you.

I've been using the traditional octagon nunchaku since I was 13 years old (51 now) and that is the only kind I use. I tried the nunchaku's with the chain, I don't like them, to me they are not as smooth.
I learned with the original octagon and I'm sticking with them. I taught all my kids with the original octagon. I would just adjust the string's shorter for them. In my opinion the original octagon nunchaku is the best to learn with and use for a lifetime.
