I own this product and must admit that I was very impressed. I've sparred with it many times and have seen no damage to them. However, I wouldn't call it full contact. The rubber ends have left several bruises on my sparring partners. Still as long as you don't go to overboard on your strikes, this is a very safe weapon. The only other problem is the cord is very stiff making the swings seem a little off. Still, I am so pleased. I plan to order a second one as soon as possible. If you want to spar with Nunchaku, buy these now! There is no better sparring Nunchaku on the market.
