I really don't understand why people don't do a little more research before using something like this. Suburito means you practice by yourself, and is NOT made for contact with other bokken. Do so at your own personal risk.
That aside, I'm really satisfied with the weight of it, being just shy of three pounds. The picture provided really doesn't do it justice, it's bigger than it looks. Although there were already a couple chips throughout and doesn't seem to be cut evenly, the point is the weight. When used properly, the suburito can greatly improve your speed with regular shinai and bokken. A great value based on its usefulness!
