Will it work for my kids?

I have 2 boys, 8 and 4, both on the tall side. They have successfully destroyed 2 of the kids punching bags during frequent, but normal use. So, I want to move up a step. I'm concerned that the base on this is so large, they (especially the 4 yr old) won't be able to get get close enough to work the bag. Any thoughts?

Jay - this wavemaster is a great item that will be able to withstand your kids abuse. The 8 year old will definitely not have any problems with using it.

The 4 year old may experience a little stretching in order to punch or kick. One interesting solution for that is grabbing two bungie chords or duct tape, two pillows stacked on each other, and wrapping them around the bottom of the bag. This will create more surface area that extends past the bottom of the stand. You can do this with a comforter type blanket as well.

Once he grows up a little you'll have the bag for years of training.
