Hey Mike - you'll probably want some kind of hand protection. You can find a nice selection of bag gloves here: http://www.karatedepot.com/baggloves.html. Other than that, I think all you'll need is a place to hang it. Also, consider grabbing a jump rope - they accent heavy bag training really well and enhance the cardio of the workout.
