These unique shoes from pine tree feature a mesh interior with a soft leather exterior to reduce weight. The shoes feature reinforcement in at the toe and heel with a stiffened, reinforced sole extending from the ball of the foot out to the toe. The tongue is made from nylon covered foam. The shoes also have a leather covering for the laces and special circular tread patterns on the sole that allow for easier foot pivoting. These shoes come in men's sizes. See our conversion chart for correct women's sizing. These shoes are available in both black and white colors. Also available in a high-top version.

Shoes are Dangerous

I just received my Pine Trees, I took them out of the box and slipped them on. They felt so great I immediately started bouncing Quing Gong-style around my apartment. No wires, no bamboo, just jumping from kitchen counter to couch to dining table...etc. I barely managed to remove them before I succumbed to the temptation to jump off my third story balcony to the ground below (shoes felt so good, I knew no harm would come to me if I did--I'd just roll out of the fall). They are great shoes, but dangerous. Keep your balcony door locked. ;-) Permalink

This shoe is inexpensive, very light and comfortable. However, it is probably best for people with small feet. I am 6'2'', 240 lbs and typically wear an 11 1/2 or 12 wide street shoe. The Pine Tree size 12 fits ok, but there is little side stability. My foot rolls off the sole causing me to lose balance especially when kicking. There is no arch support so after an hour of practice my feet really hurt. As others have stated, the pivot disc will fall off within the first few hours of wear and superglue does not work. I've use these shoes for a couple of months and just can't stand it any longer. If you are a larger person and practice a lot, spend the extra money and purchase a better quality shoe. Permalink

I'd like to echo the previous reviewer. This is near perfect shoes except a problem of the pivot disks on the sole falling off so quickly. My second pair has already lost three disks within several months, but nonetheless, everything is o.k. Why not repair? Unfortunately, super-gluing the disk back to the sole doesn't work for me. But I'll never mind buying another pair because this is still pretty good shoes! Permalink

I really like the product, but the only problem was that the pine tree logo on the bottom the fell off. Since it doesn't effect the shoe, I am not worried about a replacement. Permalink

These shoes provide a great indoor experience in training and are light enough to where you feel like your wearing nothing at all. They do get dirty quite easily and to keep them looking nice it's best not to use outside. Permalink

The Pine Tree shoes are the best, most comfortable martial arts shoe I have tried. They are very durable also .... my last pair lasted 9 months attending 5 classes per week on average. I would recommend the Pine Tree shoe to anyone. Permalink
