I bought this sword bag to protect a Japanese custom made 31'' (2.6 shaktu) iaito with silver fittings. It is light weight, easy to carry, sturdy and durable. It is also aesthetically pleasing. My iaito wrapped in thick silk sword bag fits without any difficulty. This bag was designed to accommodate 2 swords. Instead of a wakazashi, my second sword is a bokken. I would have rated it 5 stars if not for the fact that the zipper handle came off. I was able to fix it by crimping it where a gap had widened.
