I have bought this sword and used it on many hiking trip. The blade has held out nicely cutting through all sorts of logs on my excursions. The sheath is a little damaged but that can be expected from the types of woods I've been through. If I ever need a good overall sword again I will buy another one of these.

Orcaman, there is a difference between a samurai sword and a ninja sword. Samurai needed the longer blade on horses and practiced a different way of fighting. The ninja stealthily moved in upon their enemy. They used a different way of drawing and they usually hung it across their back. It looks to be a very sturdy sword and I might buy it.
