| XP Hogu
Like the other review says, this is a great chest protector.
I haven't owned any others, but I looked at one at a store that lays out straight like a board, and it seems like it would be a real pain to put on. Like the other review says, this is easy to put on. You just pull it over the top or pull it up, pull the two straps in the back down tight, and tie them in front.
The internal plate covers your chest, abdomen, and ribs.
I'm 5''8' and the medium/large fits good and doesn't really restrict my movement.

| XP Full Headgear
I was going to buy the Warrior headgear based on the other review and because it is cheaper, but I saw the XP full headgear at a local store and compared it to the Warrior. From smacking myself in the side of the head, it seemed to me that the XP absorbed the blow significantly better than the Warrior.
Also, I measured my head per the instructions at 22.5 inches, and I would have ordered a large based on my measurement and the other review. But at the store, the medium fit just right. It's snug but not too snug; it's not supposed to fit loose. I don't know how a large fits, but a medium seems right.
I also bought the XP face shield, and my review for that is on the XP face shield web page.

| XP Face Shield
I haven't got hit in the face with this yet or owned headgear where the face shield is fixed. But, with this face shield, you can adjust it so your eyes are in line with the slot that you're supposed to see out of. Any clear plastic is going to distort and obstruct your vision, so this one is nice because it has the slot for your eyes, and the slot and holes keep the face shield from fogging up.
Of course, I bought the XP full headgear to go with it, and I have a review for the headgear on the Macho XP full headgear web page.
