I prefer an 8 inch over a 12 inch since it's so much shorter and fits in ur back pocket much better. Unlike the 12 inch this is actually concealable.

I am fairly experienced with the nunchaku and was thrilled when i finally recieved this. I had planned to use this to spar with my friend but just after 2 days of use, it had broken apart. I had lightly used it to practice my attacks on my wooden bed frame and i guess the plastic tube inside the foam wasnt too durable after all.
