We have used these rebreakable boards from Century for two years, and they are a great improvement over the much heavier solid nylon rebreakable boards that they replaced. We use Century boards with different resistance in various combinations for our breaking standards at promotion tests. The boards' light weight makes them easier to hold, and they are also easier on hands and feet because they flex like wood boards even when they don't break completely. The initial cost has been offset by their durability, and they seem to retain their breaking resistance even after extended use. I recommend them as a viable alternative to wood boards for breaking training.
