    A little bulky but otherwise perfect

    It is a little bulky and not ideal for sparring because of that, but for training, when you don't want to feel the punch, this protector is perfect. The outer shell is quite rigid, so it breaks the force of the punch and spreads it out over the thick foam padding. When my 13-year-old son wears this, I can land a side kick straight to his gut and the only thing he feels is the landing (on his butt). Fairly easy to get on and off, though a helper is needed to get both the buckles in back.

    Wil this vest fit my son who is 6'6" 310lbs without hinedering his breathing and movement while fighting?

    All chest guards seem inhibitive at first, but he will get used to it.
