I brought these guys for offer protection from my kicks. first. I found that the kicks provide great protection. The padding is thick enough for me to do my regular kicks with confidence that I'm not doing too much damage to them. Now for the bads. I found that just after one light sparing day (3 matches, 3 mins rounds) the bottom parts around the toes area are starting apart. I do not think that these pad would last 3-4 more sparing days, or at least with me at least. I also found that these weren't that comfortable and often loose around the heel area for some quick foot movement around the ring. I just wish these guys are more durable at the bottom. Permalink

Bought these for my 2nd degree TKD son. 6 months later, they are falling apart. He's had many other foot pads that lasted much longer. Permalink

I spar every Friday night & I love the Macho Warrior line it really can't be beat for quality, fit, durability and price. I usually wear size 10 shoes so I bought the large Macho Warrior kicks. They fit perfect for my barefoot practice sessions but I wouldn't recommend wearing shoes inside of the kick. Unlike other brands, this kick is easy to get on & off and has padding where you need it most. I highly recommend it. Permalink

My two boys do shotokan and the only sparring gear they would allow me to purchase is the warrior kick. They have told me if I purchased any other kind they would not wear them. I spend the extra for this if this is what makes them happy and comfortable when sparring especially in competitions. Permalink
