These are great

I had painful contusions on my instep from kicking elbows in TKD sparring. I wore these over the normal sparring foot gear (the kind that fit snug with toe holes cut out), and they allowed me to spar while my instep was healing. They also have kept my foot bruise-free ever since (even though I continue to kick elbows!) Permalink

Instep Guard

I received my 11 year old son's instep guard and it seems a little too small or maybe it suppose to be that tight, but is it possible for him to fit into the senior size? There really is no size chart for this item. Permalink

Hi Irene. Since these pads hug so tightly you may be able to try the senior size. If you're a bit worried about that, perhaps you can take a look at footgear that have more specific breakdowns for kids, like this one - http://www.karatedepot.com/pr-ki-06.html

I have been using these for about a year for iaido training. My feet are bony and it really hurts when I sit in seiza position. These make it much more comfortable and I have no trouble at all going to seiza. I highly recommend these guards if you experience similar pain. Permalink

I ordered these in-step guards and have been wearing them for my training in kickboxing and grappling. I also have a crack on my in-step, but ever since I have been wearing them, it feels like I have a new foot. It is amazing. Nice, comfortable to wear, light and great price. Permalink

Amazing!

I just recieved this product, but I am already getting benefits from it. The guards are incredible for both sparring and bag use. Much more comfortable than bulky foam shoes and just as effective. Permalink
