The Warrior line of sparring gear features a double layer foam protection which gives martial artists even more safety when sparring. The Warrior Headgear has patented ear release canals. Why? If you were to get a blow to the head, there's a chance the hit can seal your ear and compress the excess air down the ear canal - which could rupture your eardrum. The canal gives the air an escape route and protects your hearing.

Pros -Good Protection -Nice Helmet/Face Guard -Gloves and Boots a bit above average -Nice body protection Cons -Had issues with keeping all items secured. Helmet has easily pulled off during clinching/grappling. Gloves are a bit loose to. Body protection fasteners have broke. -bulky body protection -below average mouth guard. Overall a good product which I used in an MMA setting which is why I am sure I had issues mentioned in the cons section. I am sure for regular karate type stuff it is fine. I would recommend.

Picked up this set for my first sparring tournament and it served me well. People's comments about the glove finger holds are true, but the headgear is simply first rate. Well worth picking up!

Bought this set for my six year old and he just loves it. Good quality, fits nicely, a lot of bang for the price and allows him to concentrate on having fun with his little sparring partners.

I absolutely love this sparing gear set, my mom bought it for me about three weeks ago and I couldn't feel more protected while sparing! I recommend this kit for anyone!!!!!!!!!!

This was and is the best deal around. The equipment is awesome and very functional. I could not be any happier with the equipment. I proudly recommend this for beginners or advanced students.

The only reason I post a 5-star rating is because there's not a 10-star rating. I bought the Warrior Full set for my 6-year-old son and he is now the envy of his TKD class. It fits him just fine without being too big and there's still room to grow. I've referred a number of folks to KarateDepot.com and told them how satisfied I am with the products, price, and service. The Warrior set is intelligently designed, easy to put on, and safe for my son. I attached a quick-release Fastex buckle and 2 sliders to the chest protector. Instead of tying a knot every time and hoping it stays tied, it now goes on in 3 seconds flat and stays secure. When he outgrows his current set, I'll come back here for the next one.

This is my first set of Macho Warrior sparring gear. I have given some hard kicks and punches as well as taken in numerous hard blocks. I have seen no wear or tear to the gear and I feel well protected. It is comfortable, wears true to size and is easy to maintain. I bought the chest protector in a youth for my daughter. It is easy on/off and she feel comfortable and protected while in her gear. My daughter uses the Macho Warrior Patriot gear and we have no complaints on either set. Macho brand has outdone itself again. I will never buy anything other than MACHO.

I bought this set for myself and I was amazed of what you get for the price you pay. It was delivered to my door and when I opened it up it was Christmas! All the items were more then what expected. I utilized this set recently at a TKD Tournament and I received a lot of inquires about my gear. I just replied Karatedepot.com. I won't go anywhere else.

Only problem is that you can't buy the set for young-children. My son is 7 years of age and they don't make hand/feet small enough to get him the entire set. When he is big enough, you know I'll be back at Karatedepot.com to get the rest of his equipment.

The karate class my daughter attends was out of stock of their sparring equipment and had told us that the equipment was on back order. My daughter had just become eligible to start sparring and was disappointed. I headed for the internet. After an exhaustive search of about a dozen on-line vendors, I chose this package from Karate Depot. Boy were we ever impressed with what we got. Pictures are OK to get an idea of what the items are, but when we got these items and got to compare these with the equipment the other kids had, we were amazed. This set is by far a better set in terms of quality of construction and ease of use than any other child had. After talking to a number of parents I also learned that the price of this set was about 50% less than they had paid for theirs. You just can't beat that: best stuff, lowest price. I expect some of the parents that have not yet gotten equipment for their kids will be heading for this site. I also had a positive experience with Karate Depot's customer service. There was a minor issue with the original order I placed on-line. They called me early the next day, told me what the issue was and what they were going to do to resolve it. They did everything they said they would do, and I got the merchandise when they said I would. All in all, a very good transaction PS -my daughter kicked butt in her first sparring session yesterday.
