Fair warning: this jo staff is heavy! The red oak is much more beautiful than I had anticipated. I would not hesitate to recommend this item!

I have been looking for a set of gloves like this for quite some time, as most standard sparring gloves are unnecessarily bulky and restrict finger usage. My style of kung fu has a lot of grabs and I like being able to actually USE my fingers! The small/medium size fits snugly and the construction is excellent. Padding is amply thick and very dense. All in all an excellent product!
