I was so happy KD started carrying these in both the 26 and 28 inch sizes - these are my second favorite stick on the market (I haven't actually seen my favorite for 15 years) - the sticks were straight, dense - and from experience they last for years.

I purchased one of these out of curiosity, and was very please by it. The weight of the weapon is like holding air - sometimes I move too fast with it. And the grooves cut in the side make a chirping sound when you cut with the blade aligned properly, giving you instant feedback about whether your blade is flat or not. A great tool, most of the students in my classes that study sword are now carrying this in addition to their hardwood bokken. Thumbs up!
