First off the picture is very miss leading, be sure to take note of the .63oz in the description... the size of the container you are getting with this product can fit in the palm of your hand. Secondly, Icyhot will provide you the same results with a different smell for a fraction of the price. Overall the it does what it claims and is good for doing warm-ups or for getting rid of those annoying ligament and muscle aches. Permalink

This stuff works great. The pain goes away immediately, and then you get a little burning sensation; the active ingredient behaves kind of like cinnamon, and smells similar as well. The burning doesn't really hurt, it just tingles a little; unless of course you apply too much. These little jars don't hold much, but you don't need much. If you scoop a glob on your finger and apply a thick layer across your skin you'll learn what bad sunburn feels like; I like to just slide my finger along the surface until it melts, then take the slick coated fingertip to the muscle and apply this stuff sparingly. Rub it in quickly, and reach for more if you need it. I like Tiger Balm because it doesn't contain methyl salicylate like Ben-Gay or IcyHot. Arielle Newman, died April 3 2007 age 17, overdose of methyl salicylate absorbed through the skin; she was using cream and patches in excess. The poisoning occurs slowly, you don't just slap it on and die; so I avoid those kinds of creams and stick with Tiger Balm. Permalink

This is not only great for warming up and getting the blood flowing, but i use this balm for ever injury except open wounds. If you put this on at night there will be no pain the next day. This is also great for the pre- iron palm training and ki building exercises. Permalink

I switched to this after finding out that this will knock out pretty much any ache that I may get as opposed to the store brand stuff I used to buy. Highly recommended and I've already got a couple people swearing by it as well. Permalink

This is the best stuff i ever used. Soreness goes away almost instantly after class. I use it before class to loosen up and anytime i am sore or in pain. Real great on hands after makawarai training. Permalink
