I haven't bought this but I do know a lot about buying swords and about the steel. this seems like a terrible deal for the money.Theres now way 420 stainless would be fully functional I have a 1045 carbon steel sword and even its bad on light targets witch is why imp upgrading to 9260 carbon steel and that sword imp buying is top line for around 300 dollars from cheness. Great for use and price…and looks great too! I'm a freak about security so i keep this (aswell as a shotgun, taser, and pepper spray lol) next to my bed. This keeps me feeling safe at night (not that the shotgun doesn't lol). Permalink

If your looking for a sword for functional purposes with an attached last resort for a low price, this is the way to go. Although it's pretty well balanced, it took me a little time to get used to the extended handle. I recommend for any intermediate or advanced martial artist, but beginners might want to stick with the basics first. Permalink
