The products quality is fantastic, it does appear to be very well made and the padding is excellent. The problem with this hogu is the design, it does not wrap all the way around like the normal new style hogu's do. It stops about where the old dot style guards did and has a spine pad attached with velcro to the body of the hogu (seperate from the laces) that is supposed to cover the rest. The problem is that unless you are perfectly sized for the velcro the spine pad will be loose and uncomfortable due to bunching or cause the protector to be too tight. You can only make very minor adjustments with the velcro which seriously limits the size range. Again the quality is great, it is the design that is bad. 5 stars for quality, 1 star for design.
