Could you provide a url of the everlast bag in question?

From my experience the xxl wavemaster is actually one of the most stable bags you can buy. The extended surface area really absorbs blows.

Right now we don't have any replacement pieces for wavemasters. As far as I know Century does not offer that, which is a shame because I think it would help some individuals save money.

If I do catch wind that pieces might be available for stock I'll move the process along asap.

Hi Rachel. I don't think we carry anything like that, but can I recommend this alternative: http://www.amazon.com/Vinyl-Swimming-Pool-Quick-Patch/dp/B001E6FMY8. It's a swimming pool patch. Obviously not originally intended for heavy bags but are extremely durable and seal water tight.

Hi Eric. We don't have any pad replacement specifically for the wavemaster, but we do have something called the muay thai attachment - tr-bg-307. This is an extra layer of padding you can place around your standing bag. It might not be as tall as this particular model of wavemaster, but is an option to try before having to replace the whole thing altogether.

guideline question

Ok i live in tx & was wondering is there any temp. limit that this thing can stand?
Would the surface get messed up by the heat of the summer?
or what is the guidelines for this product not to get messed up? Permalink

If you are leaving it out in the elements then I think you would be lucky if it last more than 18 months. But if you are putting it on a sun room, some place where it will not get wet and then heated by the sun, then you should be fine for years. If you wanna leave it in a screened in porch/sun room. Just be sure and use armor all on it once in a while. If you have a storage room outside, you could just roll it in there when you are done with it and roll it back out when you want to use it again.

We bought a bag 15 years ago when my kids started taking Karate. Now they use it with their students in our Karate School and it still looks great! It just got its' first little crack in the base a few weeks ago!!

Awesome Bag!

We have these freestanding punching bags at the school that i go to. They are stable & takes a lot of kicking power to get this thing to the ground! Im even thinking on getting one so that i can practice at home when im not able to go to class!!!! Permalink
