This thing is awesome, other than the lack of padding on the entire thing. I placed it on my widest door (nearly 30 inches), with only 2 of the 3 screws on each bracket hitting a stud, and this thing holds my 200 lbs just fine. I put the second bracket just below waste level for dips and rows (laying down on the ground). Great product. Permalink

I installed this chin up bar in my 9 yr old son's room and he can't walk past it without jumping up and doing a few pull-ups. He is up to 10 pull-ups already. I'm thrilled with his progress. The bar went up in minutes and is very sturdy. Permalink

This chin up bar was an excellent value and it is very comfortable and sturdy. The only con to this product is how long the initial installation of the brackets takes, but switching between them is very easy once there installed.

I would highly recommend this chin up bar to anyone. Permalink

I think this is a great deal... it's the best price I've found for a decent chin up bar and Everlast makes good quality equipment. My only gripe is that you might have to keep tightening the bar every so often since it's adjustable, but not a major concern to worry about. Permalink
