    Installing between two walls

I have very thick walls. Is there any reason that I cannot install it between two walls rather than in the doorway?

If you've got walls that are close enough I don't suspect there would be any problems. Make sure to aim for beams and not just drywall.

You need to drill into a doorframe or a stud. The drywall won't hold your weight.

    Everlast Chin-up

This thing is awesome, other than the lack of padding on the entire thing. I placed it on my widest door (nearly 30 inches), with only 2 of the 3 screws on each bracket hitting a stud, and this thing holds my 200 lbs just fine. I put the second bracket just below waste level for dips and rows (laying down on the ground). Great product.

    Great Value

I installed this chin up bar in my 9 yr old son's room and he can't walk past it without jumping up and doing a few pull-ups. He is up to 10 pull-ups already. I'm thrilled with his progress. The bar went up in minutes and is very sturdy.

    Exellent chin up bar!

This chin up bar was an excellent value and it is very comfortable and sturdy. The only con to this product is how long the initial installation of the brackets takes, but switching between them is very easy once there installed.

I would highly recommend this chin up bar to anyone.

    Does job

Does the job as advertised however I would forget constantly changing it from the chin-up position to the situp position. It takes 5-10 minutes to

    great value

I think this is a great deal... it's the best price I've found for a decent chin up bar and Everlast makes good quality equipment. My only gripe is that you might have to keep tightening the bar every so often since it's adjustable, but not a major concern to worry about.
