Product Description

Made of ethylene vinyl acetate foam, these mats are thick and sturdy and still offer a comfortable layer of cushion between you and the floor
Textured finish allows for better traction
Cover the entire floor or just a portion of it
Mats interlock like a jigsaw puzzle for easy set-up or take aways
Available in 4 great colors, you can mix and match to create designs or have a consistent color throughout so you can concentrate on your workout
Each mat weighs 6 lbs. and measures 40" x 40" x 3/4"
Use this formula to figure out how many mats you will need:

Total Square Feet divided by 11.09 = # of mats needed

A. Radhakrishnan, they are sold separately (one jigsaw piece mat) & the price depends on the total square feet your space is. There is a formula to find out how many mats you need to order : Total Square Feet divided by 11.09 = # of mats needed

Rebreakable Boards
A. Jen - if you are looking for a 1 inch thick board you would want the green belt option. "1.75" does indeed mean 1.75 inches thick, but don't bethrown by the color gradings - it's not necessary for all brown belts to break the brown belt board, it's just a clever way to name them. If I could make a suggestion: try to refrain from having your son do breaking at such a young age. Children's bones are in a state of development at that point and aren't adequately hardened to withstand that kind of punishment. If breaking is required for black belt, just have him wait for a few more years to achieve it. Black belt will also mean more to him when he is old enough to appreciate all the implications that come with having a black belt.

Dyna Sparring Gear Set
A. Hey Amsterdam - I can tell you from personal experience (I've used the dyna set for years now) that this allows for good mobility. There isn't anything excessive about this set, but it still provides good padding. That being said, any kind of sparring gear is going to feel a bit restrictive until you get used to it and break it in.

Harbinger Three Part Mat
A. Hi Missyb - the thickness of this mat would definitely accommodate falls and rolls nicely. However,be advised that if you have a lot of forward momentum on your rolls you may find yourself rolling off the end of the mat. In general though this shoul be good for your purposes.

Hi Lu - these mats should be able to withstand that kind of setup. However, you may experience a little bit of slipping from time to time as cement doesn't really help keep the mats in place, and the wavemaster may shift and disrupt the mats. Just something to consider.
