This mat was much larger (longer) and thicker than I had expected. It also comes with straps and a bag which makes this a great deal for the price. And the customer service from karatedepot.com is excellent. Very pleased! Permalink

The mat works great, but wasn't shipped in the color displayed on the picture (it comes as a blackish-greyish color). Other than that, I guess there's no real problems with the mat, esp. for the price. Permalink

Better than expected

At first sight, I thought this mat's too thin and light for adequate comfort and protection. The foam felt a bit stiff as well. However, it's been better than I could have ever expected. Though thinner than another mat I was considering at quadruple the price, I'm quite pleased with everything about the Aerobic Exercise Mat - price, flexibility, shock absorption, storing ease, and I like the color too. Good mat.

For twenty dollars this is a nice mat. Solid padding, soft enough to cushion impact. Cleans easily. Easy to transport. Smells a bit of the synthetic rubber compound of which it is made, but this is to be expected with a relatively thick mat. Permalink
