This body shield from KD Elite offers all the same quality as shields from other brands but at a much lower price. This shield stands 25-1/2" tall, is 15" wide and is 5" thick. This shield has a concave design that absorbs and evenly distributes the energy from impacts away from the holder. The plastic and nylon handles on the back assure the holder a strong and comfortable grip. We also have Hand Targets available.

As both the striker and the pad holder, the padding is excellent. The curvature is great for uppercuts and catching strikes that might otherwise slide past the pad. I don't know why anyone would by a non-curved body shield these days. Without gloves, the material is rougher on the hands than vinyl. To me it seems like it's going to last forever.

This shield has more protection than most and it is not as flimsy as some of the others I have seen. It was a hit when I brought it to class to test with my other classmates.

Very comfortable and nice design. The curve is perfect. A good product for most anyone. I definitely recommend it to others.

Nice design. Comfortable handles. Good padding. However, after little use the stitching opened up at both front and back seams rendering the shield useless. The material should be rip-stop or coated and double or fell seamed. I do not recommend this product for professionals.
