I purchased the Century Versaflex last month. I have owned several leg stretchers over the years, but the Versaflex beats them ALL hands down! It is by Far the sturdiest, most comfortable and most versatile leg stretcher I have ever used! Finally, someone has resolved all of the issues that used to plague conventional leg stretchers! The ratcheting expansion handle is MUCH easier to use the the bulky, awkward crank handles or wheels! The user can control the incremental strech to be as little or as much as is desired! The degree of rotation is clearly and accurately marked and easy to read! The stretching mechanism is simple, yet elegant, just like the steel cable and pulley systems used in commercial gym equipment! This stretcher actually goes out past 180 degrees! The quick release lever on the ratcheting expansion handle makes safety a non-issue! I read the other reveiw that indicates that you must increase the stretch to release. This is not true. Just squeeze the lever and pull the handle all the way back! It will release without incrementing at all! The only caveat I would offer is that this stretcher, like any floor stretcher, should be used on a smooth surface as retraction from the stretch is manual, not automatic. If using on carpet I recommend getting a plastic or glass floor matt, like the kind used under desks.  Permalink

I bought one of these about 3 years ago. This is the only stretching machine that I have used. It provides good support on the knees and back. The pulling crank provides nice increments of tension. My biggest problem with this is the release of the stretch. You have to increase the stretch to release the tension on the crank, then use your own muscles to control the speed at which you pull you legs back together.  Permalink

Not only is this stretching machine priced right, but it was also fairly easy to put together. Simple instructions that actually worked. I use it everyday and it has held up the test of time (I've had it about 6 months). The machine is easy to operate and the benefits are fantastic.

I have failed to continue with my martial arts training over the last ten years. I have gained weight and I have allowed various things in life to get in the way of my training.

I knew that I would have to do some serious training and stretching in order to just begin classes again! The Versaflex is certainly the machine that one needs to do this. I am 50 years old, overweight, and my legs are very tight! The Versaflex has certainly allowed me to get my muscles to loosened up again.

Also, I am an R.N., and I am on my feet constantly-the Versaflex has helped my legs from hurting so bad!
