      • 100% cotton for comfort and breathability
      • Utilizes drawstring waist with single front loop
      • Features unobtrusive rear pocket for small dojo items

      Karate pants that offer superior response to technique. 100% cotton material (12 oz) is extremely durable and yet surprisingly comfortable. Soft material with a perfect fit leaves you completely distraction free and able to focus on the task at hand.

      Pants are secured through a waist drawstring, traditional tie method with single front loop.

      Rear pocket is inconspicuous and perfect for holding small items like mouthguards, tournament registration tickets, wallets, etc. Very useful for all day training seminars or tournaments where you may need to leave for periods of time and carry keys and money with you.

    Great Pants! FYI Size 5 has 50" waist

    Love these pants. FYI. Size 5 has a 50" waist. The widest part (just above the gusset seam) is 54" around.

    Is there a size chart that corresponds to these pants? I'm 5'1", 108 lbs., what size do you recommend?

    I'd recommend a size 2, although you would probably fit in a 1 as well.

    size chart...

    What is the size chart for this product? I see a size selection but no actual size chart. Plus, lets say I am buying these and I am 5'5 with a 44 waist. what size should I buy? should I buy size 5 or 6? should I buy 7 or 8? should I buy 1 or 2?. It would be nice to have a chart showing actual fits and what is in the range of a comfortable fit at least. So can anyone help me out then?

    Hmm, you're right! We don't have the size chart on this page. Check out the bottom of the page un-st-10 for sizing chart access.

    To answer the question directly - you'll be all set with a size 5.

    I'm 6'3", 235 lbs, 40 inch waist, and 32 inch length. What size should I be ordering? I ordered a size 6 in the 8 oz kd elite pants that you used to offer and they fit perfect without alteration. Sure wish you still offered those :)

    Hey Brady - I would still recommend a size 6! I believe you'll find them on par with the old 8oz.

    Fantastic!

    Great product, excellent quality, and fast shipping. I'm really very pleased with these. I'm 6'2" and 260, so someone built like a linebacker has issues at times finding a gi that fits in the leg. They need to be hemmed of course, but otherwise the fit is perfect. I'm stoked with these and will be back for more.

    Too big?

    Just received these pants today and the are huge. According to size charts on other 12 oz pants of same material, these should be right size. If I wash them, will they shrink? But, if I wash them are they no longer returnable? I'm not sure what I should do...

    Hey Eukonidor.Gi pants always seem huge, especially if you aren't used to the traditional drawstring style. These pants follow suit with the other brands so they should do the trick.

    Just curious how these worked out for you. I just got mine and they are barely long enough, but huge in the waist. I'm afraid if I wash them, I'll have capri length karate pants! Right now, I can't even cinch them enough to get then snug around the waist. I ordered a 2 and I'm 5'1" about 110 lbs. These seem like they're more tournament length -- they're right at my ankle bone w/out even washing first.

    How Much Do These Shrink?

    I just received my order, and I'm really bummed. They are barely long enough, but HUGE in the waist. I'm afraid if I wash them, I'll have capri length karate pants that still fall down! Right now, I can't even cinch them enough to get then snug around the waist. I ordered a 2 and I'm 5'1" about 110 lbs. These seem like they're more tournament length -- they're right at my ankle bone w/out even washing first. Not sure if I should wash and dry or just return them. The guy who invents karate uniforms that are normal sized and easier to fit will make a mint!

    Hey PL. These pants try to accommodate a wide range of people, so sometimes there are issues like the one you described.

    But the size two is already too huge in the waist -- and too short. Can someone tell me how these will shrink? What's been the feedback? Do they shrink more in length or girth or both? I wouldn't want them any shorter, but definitely smaller in the legs and waist. Is there hope? Thanks!

    They will shrink in both length and girth, that's why I was recommending you try a 3 and shrink it down.
