This gi is a great buy. It is much less expensive than other heavy weight gi's, and looks and performs very well. The fabric is not as soft as the brushed cotton, but if you don't want to spend the money for a higher end gi, this is a great option. Permalink

This is very heavy material that still looks new after 3 months. There is a lot of shrinkage the first washing so keep that in mind when ordering. You won't be disappointed with this uniform. Permalink

I wanted a heavyweight uniform based on what I was told I would need in the dojo. This uniform is very nice, and extremely comfortable for training. The drawstring and ties for the waist make putting the pants on very easy, and the ties at the sides of the jacket hold it securely closed even without a belt. The belt is of good quality, and can be dyed a color if needed using a hot dye once you progress and pass white belt. I have recommended this uniform to my classmates who haven't bought a uniform yet. Permalink
