The midweight feel and construction of the black jiu jitsu uniform makes them very comfortable to wear while still being substantial enough to tolerate the abuses of regular BJJ training.

Fuji has designed their single weave gi to perform under any circumstances, utilizing reinforced stitching throughout the most common tear areas.

I would recommend a size c2 at this point unless you are expecting a significant growth spurt in the near future.
