      Judo gi are famous for their durability and resistance to tearing, and this training model is no exception. Adidas has utilized double stitching and cross-pattern stitching at the most heavily used locations on the judo gi to help ensure longevity and reliability during training.

      The training gi is 15oz and has a drawstring waist for easy on-and-off. The material is lightweight but sturdy. This is designed off of the popular 'club' model which is a preferred choice for beginners in the sport.

    Hi my son just started jiujitsu. he is 4 years old but very small. 3ft tall, 30 inches from wrist to wrist across shoulders, 20 inches ankle to waist. I want to know what size is best for him... a 000 or 0000? and also if you know if he can use the judo gi for jiujitsu. thank you.

    Hi Rashel. Yes, the judo gi can be used for jujitsu. Although the cuts are slightly different, all the important matters (material, construction, etc) are quite similar and transferable.

    As for size, I would go with the 0000.

    You would probably be set with a size 6; 7 if your weight tends to flux upward.

    judo training gi size

    i am a wrestler who is just starting to get into judo, so i have never owned a Gi. i'm just a shade over 6', but less than 6'1", and i weigh between 190-200 lbs. what size adidas judo training gi should i purchase?

    SIZE

    What is my size that is 5 feet and 4 inches. And the weight is 148 Lbs.
    I guess it's size A1 or size 3. Size "000" means size 3?

    Hi babel. The 000 are for very small children. You'd think they could have just started at 1 and gone higher up in number for adults, but nevertheless that's how they do it. haha.

    For you I recommend a size 3.

    If you're looking for a double weave, you might want to consider this gi: un-ju-42 instead of the single weave found on this page.

    I believe you would be a size #4.

    You could do a size 6, and then wash to shrink it down to form fit a little better. You could also get away with a size 5.

    Sizing Help

    I've had the same judo gi for the last 4 years. I'm short, heavier player. 5'9" and 250lbs+. i have a large chest and a wide back. i don't know the brand but its a size 7. it fits okay in the waist and chest but the sleeves are way to long and big. It shrunk down and fits a little better but they still are way to big.

    Can any one help me? Any big short armed guys out there with the same problem?

    I would go with a size 4.

    The jujitsu gi is a little tighter cut and more form fitting.

    I'm interesting Judo Training Gi...so i have some question to know info.
    1.where does the product make from?
    2.how's thickness of cloth?
    3.Does it make from cotton 100%?
    4.Could i see the xample before purchasing?

    I would recommend a size 5, accounting for the probable shrinking that will occur after wash and dry. This brand possesses that size - un-ju-14

    A size #4 I think would be perfect. Remember you'll get a little shrinking when washed the first time. If you want to minimize that, hang dry.

    sizing for a judo gi

    My daughter is 5feet-5inches and weight 94lbs. She is starting judo in a few weeks and needs a start-up gi at her right size. I thought about a size 2 since it could shrink up. Please reply ASAP......Thanks

    Yes size 2 would work, although be careful not to shrink it too much as you don't want to lose the height.
