I'm a newbie to martial arts and this is my first pair of karate pants. I'm only 5'2" and was a bit worried when the size 3 pants I ordered seemed a few inches too long. But I took the warning to heart about the pants shrinking when washed in hot water and purposefully washed them that way (and then dried them in a very hot drier). The end result is a perfect fit! They did indeed shrink - at least an inch in length. Now I don't have to get them hemmed! For me it was a great thing that they shrink so easily! And so far they are very durable and very comfortable. I'll definitely buy these again when I need another pair!  Permalink

I ordered these pants together with other 2 models of kung fu pants. The sizes differ a lot. However, the tables showed for this model helped me a lot. From all the three models, both kung fu pants let me a lot more freedom of movement.
On the first use these pants seemed awkward and I didn't feel free enough for my kicks. Especially for mid level front kicks and front knees they were very anoying even they are large enough in size. After few days of usage and a wash they feel beter now.
Not the most confortable pants I had, but they are not bad either.

I was looking for a good pair of pants for practice (I am a Kung Fu practitioner) and ran across these.
These are a great value for the money. In fact, I am going to by an additional pair.
One thing, there is a lot of dye used on these so I would recommend washing them twice before wearing them.  Permalink

My son, who has a black belt in Kung Fu, loves these pants as they allow for flexibility while still being a tough cotton fabric. They also are withstanding a lot of washing without fading -- (use cold water).  Permalink

I will be returning them ... they don't have the freedom of movement my current ones have. Plus when I put them on, even though sized right everywhere else, the back waist pulls down. Would not recommend.  Permalink

I ordered these for practicing around the house and outdoors since white will stain. They are 7oz so they are thin and lightweight. Also has a good snap when you kick. The drawstring with the elastic band provides for fine-tuning the fitment. As previously mentioned the sizes run a little small, I ordered a size up and they are perfect.

The pants are great and are pretty tough. the only problem is they are a little smaller than the sizing chart sizes. ordering a larger size fixes that problem  Permalink

I wear a size 3 top and a size 4 bottom, so it was nice to find these pants as a separate item. They are a little baggy, but I'm sure a few washings will take care of that. I am 5'6" and 135lbs. I'd rather have baggy than short! Nice weight too. And the tag is black with dark red lettering, not the white shown in the pic. I was very happy about that.

As a woman in martial arts it is hard to find uniforms that fit right. I'm glad I found these pants!  Permalink

Just received a pair of these for the first time and the label is actually black with red letters and logo so it's not like a 'sore thumb sticking out', do not know if they are all like though. They feel durable too. Great price.  Permalink

I have been looking for a pair of gi pants that will fit me for some time. I am a curvy woman, and as any female martial artist knows, the pants don't always fit our frames. I love these pants. I have been practicing various martial arts for about 17 years and not even the major brands (you know who you are) can compare with these. As soon as I get another $20, I will be ordering a second pair.
