For a beginning martial art student this is a good uniform at a good price. However, for more senior students/instructors the uniform is too light. During Special Training, I did enjoy this uniform because it dried very quickly between sessions. Yet, for intense practices it soaks very quickly and I would not recommend it for throwing or ground techniques. Permalink

Fantastic Gi, Exceptional Fit!

I'ma big guy (6'1'', 325lbs), and it's been difficult to find a Gi that fit really well. The Century Gi jacket was fairly comfortable (and I still use it) but the pants were far too small for someone with a ~50'' waist.

These have plenty of room, and the large gusset in the pants gives me plenty of room for kicks and evades without binding or getting in my way. It also has a beautifully crisp SNAP on a solid kick, a big improvement from the lightweight pants I've been using.

The jacket as well has more room, and gives me better range of motion. Now I just need to get all my school patches for it =) Permalink

Love this uniform

This is the most comfortable uniform I've worn. The cotton is soft but has some shape and ''snap'' (doesn't snap quite like the heavy weights but does give that satisfaction!). The pants don't stick when sweaty thus limiting range of motion like the light weight polyester and even the heavy weight cotton I've worn. Sizing is perfect (many students ordered them without difficulty). Permalink
